Home TourHistoric Home Tour
A Coronado tradition, the Mother's Day Home Tour Sun, May 11. This year's tour will feature six historic homes spread from scenic Ocean Blvd and the beach area, along Alameda Blvd and into the heart of town. The self-guided tour runs from 11am to 4pm,. Trained docents will be on hand to answer questions and share with you the particular legend of each historic structure. The tour begins at the Coronado Museum of History & Art, 1100 Orange Ave, where tickets will be picked up at a will-call table on the day of the event. Advance purchase: Members $20, non-members $25. Art-in-the-Park, 1st and 3rd Sundays of every month. This outdoor gallery features more than 50 artists, 9 AM to 4 PM, Spreckels Park. 6th St. and Orange Avenue. Cancelled in the event of rain.

The Coronado Playhouse Noel Coward's Blithe Spirit classic tale centers on the tribulations of Charles Condomine as he's haunted by the ghost of his first wife, Elvira, who appears following a seance orchestrated by the eccentric medium, Madame Arcati. Elvira's appearance throws the ordered life Charles leads with his second wife into turmoil as Elvira tries to rekindle her relationship with Charles. Blithe Spirit runs May 2 - June 1. Thursday, Friday and Saturday shows 8pm, Sunday shows 2pm. WALKING TOURS

"Hotel del Coronado Tour"
Hotel DelThe Coronado Museum of History and Art offers a one hour, docent led tour of this wonderful Hotel and its history. We are the only tour allowed by the Hotel del Coronado to go inside the hotel. Make reservations through the Coronado Visitors Center by calling (619) 437 -8788. Fee is $15. - Tours run Tuesdays at 10:30 AM and Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays at 2 PM

"Promenade Through the Past" 
Departs from the lobby of the Museum of History and Art, 1100 Orange Ave, Wed., 2:00 p.m. and Fri., 10:30 a.m. Learn about some of Coronado’s famous buildings and architectural sites, including Tent City resort, pictured above. Tour fee includes “Promenade Through the Past—A Walking Tour Guidebook of Coronado” and covers admission into the Museum of History and Art. $10.

"Coronado Walking Tour"
Departing from the Glorietta Bay Inn< tues., thurs., & sat., 11:00 a.m. a 90-min. guided walking tour of historic areas in coronado departing from the glorietta bay inn, the former mansion of john d. spreckels. 619-435-5993. fee is $12.

"Gondola Company Tour"
The Gondola Company, located at Loews Coronado Bay Resort, 4000 Coronado Bay Road offers cruises from 11 a.m. to midnight, seven days a week. Cruises are approximately one hour. All cruises include a complimentary hors d'oeuvre or dessert plate. Blankets, an ice bucket, and wine glasses are provided. You may bring your own beverage. "Coronado Tree Tour" Spreckels Park Gazebo. A 90-minute guided tour of Coronado's prominent park by a local arborist. (619) 435-1764 (reservations required). Fee is $10.
